Dr. Josh Smith
PsyD HSPP
Dr. Josh is the founding psychologist of our office. His daughter, Katelyn, was diagnosed with Autism while he was a graduate student. This office is his dream-in-progress of a place where individuals like Katelyn can come, feel comfortable, and get the services they need. Dr. Josh loves Star Wars, superheroes, Hoosier basketball, and spending time with his wife and children.

Dr. Chandra Coles
PsyD
Dr. Chandra Coles received her PsyD in 2019. She has been working alongside and under the mentorship of Dr. Josh since 2008, in which she had gained immense clinical knowledge. She enjoys working with clients of all ages and diverse backgrounds within the mental health field. She enjoys music, sports, laughter and spending time with family.
Dr. Melissa Steinkamp
PsyD HSPP
Dr. Steinkamp completed her undergraduate degree in psychology from Transylvania University, and her Masters and PsyD from Spalding University. Dr. Steinkamp’s clinical interest include anxiety, interpersonal relationships, family of origin concerns, trauma, and sexual and gender identity exploration. Dr. Steinkamp works primarily with teens and emerging adults.
Dr. Amber Perkins
PsyD
Dr. Perkins completed her undergraduate training in psychology at Indiana University’s Southeast Campus. She completed her Masters and PsyD in psychology at Spalding University. Dr. Perkins works with elementary-aged children through young adulthood. Her clinical interests include ADHD, anxiety, interpersonal relationships, disruptive, impulse-control, and conduct disorders. In her spare time, Dr. Perkins enjoys cuddling with her dogs and taking long naps.
Jennifer Mick
MA BCBA
Jennifer is a doctoral candidate from the University of the Cumberlands where she is currently finishing her PsyD. She received a masters degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of the Cumberlands in 2020 and has a masters degree from Spalding University in Behavior Analysis (2011). In her spare time, Jennifer likes to paint and collect rare plants.
Cay Cruz

Cay is a licensed BCBA with experience in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and Behavioral Case Management.At Katelyn’s Place, she applies her knowledge and skills in individual psychotherapy. She loves helping people define and reach their behavioral health goals. When not at work, she love being with her family and friends.

a call back list of interested patients.

Yes. We are in network with many major
insurance companies and Indiana Medicaid.
Do I need a referral?
No, you do not need a referral, though we always recommend you consult your doctor.
